June 2nd, 2008 — Announcements, Free articles
So after some pretty busy days I figured it was time to give you guys a head up on what’s happening with Baymard. Currently, it’s on a pause. But wait! There’s more.
The reason to this pause is a very heavy workload (partially due to this site!). Besides our marketing business we have 2 projects going, Baymard and Burden Butcher. Due to the workload we had to put one of them on hold. That one turned out to be Baymard.
If you’re new to Burden Butcher it’s a revolutionary way for freelancers to plan and organize all their business activities into one seamlessly integrated application. Click here to read more.
PS. Keep subscribed as we’ll continue the Baymard article stream in the future.

Instead, you have to be fundamentally different from all you competitors. But being different isn’t enough, you have to be different in a way your niche market finds appealing and exciting; so exciting people just can’t help but talk about it.

Back in the 60′ up until the 90′ advertising could see no end. A self-reinforcing cycle had started: 1) You ran some ads. 2) Sales went up. 3) You repeated the cycle and invested even more in step 1 with the extra capital from step 2. It was golden days for anyone with a product and the initial capital to start this cycle. Today, things are different. So read on if you want to avoid throwing money out the window.
